I don't see any guys talking about running the old Berg ignition on their motors? Bates, you ran one didn't you? I don't remember you ever being left stranded because of it.

I remember Gary's '67 had one, but all I did was plug it back in, when I put motor back in car (1994). What was the advance curve on those? Could you lock them out?

indeed not much is heard about it, but i think it would be great to have one. been thinking of buying one. so maybe this post will push me in the right direction.

The Clyde Berg Car had one on it (Stinger S4) when I owned it...Used to work perfectly!!!

I bought an Stinger S1 couple Time ago, to try it on a friends Car but it never happened as he left us way to early...

Yeah, I had the Stinger S4 from Eric Ballard's (ERCO) SS/CX sedan. I loved it. When I lost it, I almost became violent towards my ex wife. I have a drinking problem instead.  Grin Much cheaper than sitting in jail.

They are outdated. Today you can better for less. They most likely were good in their day.

they came out with a simpler version later......called igniter or something......i still have it stashed somewhere, never got to use it yet....

I run the Berg Ignitor on my Ghia with standard vw distributor. Works fine Smiley
