Oh, RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK... doesn't that EMPI insignia look rather familiar?

Why yes... yes it does! That's the insignia that I mentioned in my "Cocoon" thread.

I got a set of Diamond axles.  I will upgrade my 5-speed from Sway-A-Way to Diamond axles.  I never liked the Sway-A-Way axles anyway.

It was a very good day at the Volkstreffen swap here in Phx.  This was my haul today-
A very promising pair of German '67 fenders that the gentleman was kind enough to let go for $75
a nice pair of headlights for $5
2 Hella headlight trim pieces for $1 a piece
a very cool pair of stone guards with clips for $5
A very nice Hurst shifter missing handle, boot, and cover for $10!!!
2 Unity fog lamps in great shape for $5 the pair!  These I'll sell off to recoup some project money

I think I'll be able to sell the fog lamps for what I spent today, so all in all it was worth walking around in the rain today!

Calling me a gentleman may be a stretch! Cheesy I didn't know that was you, thanks for all those $5 bills Grin

I sold most of my junk that I brought down, so that was good. I picked up a few small misc pieces, and right at the end an old Schwinn Collegiate Wink

Dang that was you?  I've only seen your name on this computer for the last 10 years!
Thats funny.
Since I got home yesterday I've already worked out most of the dents in both of those fenders.  Its amazing how nice those German fenders are to metalwork.

Although I wouldn't call this a "score", I did get it at the swap in Phoenix this weekend. I've been looking for this piece for ages. I just now assmebled it, probably install it after work today. My suspension will finally be complete, so it was worth it! Well chuffed! Grin

Also scored a single side cover IRS trans for $25 Smiley

I scored some of the ones the guy had up, but unfortunately was at work when he posted the good ones. Someone tipped him off though! Sad He was a happy seller until then....now he's not coming off the rest of his stash. I got the EMPI points/condensor, 2 sets of EMPI garnish strips (1 front, 1 rear), EMPI lug nuts and a set of Durachrome Locking lugs. I'm very thankful for what I scored.

picked up a couple of things at the classic yesterday,

black plate for my nova, and the Lee Woods frame

where I used to buy parts and get my car fixed.

I think I need another VW, to hang this frame off of.
