Wierd Deano, I just sold a shifter EXACTLY like that (NOS in the box)!

But, this one is now installed in a car and finally performing it's intended duties ... not that I would've ever done so! LOL

It's not how fast you go; it's how you go fast.

You bet there is! $42.65 1970 dollars is $243.55 in today's dollars. Mr Lindsley bit hard that day--so hard he was probably afraid to install that shifter!

I absolutely loved the Hurst shifter I had in my '68 daily driver a few years go... bought it off the Samba for $25, only missing the plastic boot.  Great shifter for a taller driver like me (6'2, 6'3-ish).  Grin

Went to Pomona with the Deeks.

Picked up a bunch of stuff for my pickup truck but I picked up one thing for the '67.

Apparently the CA DMV wants to see an original sticker to register Year of Manufacture license plates.

[ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ]

This will allow me to reuse the black and yellow plates that have been on my '67 since '67.

Amazing day at Pomona.  Walked 'till my feet throbbed!

Picked up an NOS Convertible rear view mirror, Black "year of manufacturer" '69 license plates and tag sticker!!

Crossing my fingers for reassignment at the DMV this Tuesday!  Then, to drop the plate off locally for restoration!

Not at a swap meet but I recently acquired what appears to be a good solid S&S Header, 1-5/8" merged, with merged dual QPs.
