Here in Guatemala at BugCamp V in Coban, there were two guys selling stuff. Picked up a heart tail light housing with chrome surround and a cracked lens, plus a 60s Beetle locking column with an unknown language. Pics later.

Nice Skyway mags Are the 6 spoke ones 24",they look a little small in the photo I will need to look again at my 24's but I think they are 7 spoke. Mine are first gen. Those look to have reflector mount tabs..no such on a 24" |

HA! Makes me think of my recent 24" Quadangle build ... guess I'm still a punk at heart! Built it with graphite 24" Tuffs ... and You're right, HECKER! They're 7 spoke. If only we could relive those days ... Lord knows I try TxT |

Chose not to go to the Classic this year for the first time ever but its all good.. 1) early Van Wyck dealership frame - Thanks Corey 2) original empi day/night mirror - Thanks Zack 3) original BRM cap - Thanks Connor 4) 1 late original empi 2 piece 5 spoke still in it's original gold paint when purchased new  |

Oh I got lucky again but this is a first for me. Early dated 7/67 empi wide 5 sprintstars all dated 7/67 and all matching #'s. I got these from the original guy that bought them brand new in 68 for his vw. He's had them all this time up until yesterday when I came across them.... They are all original paint the yellow stuff is just the clear coat flaking off from year's from exposure to the desert sun....Rare to find a matched complete set and even more rare to purchase them from someone that bought them new in 68...

I'm no expert but my guess (cloudy brain) is 1980-81.... Feel free to correct me but these were around when I was a "daily driver" One of the best looking bends as I recall. Great find as Ol' Tom says.
