Scored a couple more frames the broken 50’s Harry Hill isnt rare as I’ve had a few of these 50’s style
Frames but the ARROYO HIGHLAND PARK CALIFORNIA FRAME is the 1st I’ve found and the only frame to exist so far. On another cool note the license plates are super cool because it’s my wife’s maiden name UEK !!!! Pretty cool and she’s a happy aswell ..... happy wife happy life brotha’s

Scored some cool stuff yesterday and as usual to get It I had to take it all. My favorite score were the 2 1966 convertible decklids but one is NOS but does have some dings from being moved around over the years exposed outside but still in great shape

Lots of people are born here never leave and eventually die here without setting foot outside the city limits lotsa of people own cool cars they bought new locally From the 50’s & 60’s here and just enjoy them until they eventually buy something new cause there kids tell them to stop driving that old junker and park it and never touch it again. There’s a 53 convertible beetle here Ive been trying to buy for the last 13 years I’ll get it one day and I don’t expect to much for it because it’s Just an old car sitting on the side of the house there not waiting to see how much $ they can get for it it’s more of a sentimental value and when it’s time theylll let me know so PERSISTENCE and respect for other peoples property helps in getting these cars and parts but most of all .... I’m just a cool dude to know LOL |

Found another clean 14 inch empi steering wheel complete and a 36 horse Judson super charger (incomplete kit) and an early pair of popouts traded a pair of IDA’s that needed to be rebuilt for all these goodies.

Been hunting this empi universal steering wheel for 3 years first saw it on offer up was going to buy the whole 68 Vert just for the steering wheel then the guy ghosted me so 3 years later I see the Vert pop up for sale on the samba and the steering wheel was still in it luckily the seller was my friend who found the Vert and I asked if he would sell me the steering wheel and he said yup so now it’s mine and my search is over

Everything is just bolted on. The quarter panels bolt on between the actual quarter panels and fenders and the hood bolts onto the hinges very simple Here’s a pic of one done up [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] |
