if i'm gonna do a bank transfer from the UK to the USA what info do i need from the recipient in the States??

anyone have any first hand experience?

The name and address of the bank, the account number, the routing number (or code) and that's it. It's an instant transfer – d it before 4.00pm and it will be in the vendor's account the same working day.

the oldboy has missed out another rather important part.......

you need the account/sellers name and address also ?

also a note: if the bank is not a main stream bank it may be routed via the BOA (bank of america) first and this takes a little longer...

but more importantly, what you buy ?

I opened an account over there, transfered the money from my Uk account to the USA account. then bought the cars with Cash!

Its also very handy having an account over there, you can transfer spaire cash over when the exchange rate suits you....
