Hi guys, in need of a nice decklid spring for my '67 Bug, color isn't important, just an original VW spring is good.

Please reply or PM me thanks.

Is there a difference in the years? I have one off a '61 you can have. No rust, just painted blue. Think I have one off a '65 too, but it is hot pink.

49 to 55 use the big coil spring, 56 to 66 use a smaller spring, the 67 and later use a larger spring see pictures

I found a spring. It's on the car. It's the right one.

Well, I've already sold the bumpers, interior, and trim (dechroming is on the cards!), and the plan is to build up the new pan with IRS, discs etc, so it's fair to say it won't be a stock resto! But on the other hand I don't want the decklid to bash me on the head when I'm setting up the IDAs! Wink

LOL thats Why alot of the early deck lids tear the spring suports off and or break the hinges or spot welds on the deck lids Because the wrong year spring has been used
