It was the distributor drive gear but is not needed when you run crank trigger ignition,I machined the teeth of for a reason,its just something that i wanted to try Smiley

Richie, Martin, would it not be easier to make a one piece spacer to eliminate the machined down gear and the spacer below it? Maybe with the sides thinned down and holes drilled through for improved oiling? I'm just thinking of replacing two pieces with one! Wink

Yeah thought of that, and making the gear with the spacer already on it. Just not got round to it yet!

I'd also like to make a replacment oil pump cover with the cam phase sensor mounted to it, that way we can just use the cam insted of a Dizzy.
