WTF is the hold up, dude? Is that engine gonna run or what? Do you seriously think Sheep's motor will be done before yours?

Bought my IDAs yesterday, bought most of my new OEM VW tin including a new VW doghouse shroud, CB 1.4 rockers, most of the odds and ends etc. Monday. Still need a welded fan, pushrods, pulley tin and a 1 5/8 Berg heater box header. I'll prolly just run the 933s header until next fall. 3 years with no heater in snowy, icy winters just sucks. If Sheep is waiting on you, hell yes I'll be done first and I still drive my car everyday while waiting.

what if you woke up one day and things were all rearranged? Like the bedroom light switch was on a different wall from where it was the day before? Few less windows in your house? Street name had changed? the last left turn you make on your way to work became a dead end? Every digit that has anything to do with your life increased by one? Would you be scared?
You been hanging out with Horsehair Haines kid fro the CLF?

Weber 48s were on back order from Bugpack and Weber but Darren(DRD) found me some more and I will have them by next Friday. CB blew it on my order. They didn't ship my entire order or contact me in any way because the only pulley tin they had was chrome and not black. Should have all my OEM tin by Friday also. I'm going to send out my case to Brother's Machine to have my lifter bores sleeved next week too. The FK cams are known to eat lifter bores. 2 steps forward and 1 step back is the theme of this build.

I received a doghouse shroud, firewall tin, doghouse tins, valve covers and bails, breast plate (not OEM), and pulley tin. I got the cylinder covers locally.
I just tracked my carbs and they'll be in Monday.

Yeah, maybe Tuesday in May. Got my carbs today. I still need some Berg sump hardware, a 36mm head gland nut of some respectable brand, being that the Berg's will probably never have them in stock when I have money, some AN fittings and a big oil cooler, some Bugpack 4047 springs and Titanium retainers (on order) and that's about it. A week or so after I get it in the car, I'll need a new gearbox.
