Heres 2 different Empi GTV Muscle Beetle newspapers for the New Empi GTV Muscle Beetles. 1 is different because it has the new GTV Muscle Beetle fold out center poster. The other one doesn't have the poster. These are dated July 1969. These newspapers show the different Accessories you could buy with your GTV Muscle Beetle such as wheels, steering wheels, gauges and engine Accessories. . Very Rare and a must for all GTV owners. I have only seen these hand full of the Rare Empi newspapers that I own and sold, other than that I've never seen them before. Newspaper with the Poster $350 and with one without the Poster is $200. Thanks for looking

No kidding. If you've got time to post things for sale, you've got time to contribute to the site.

Yeah, so? I've got "rare" EMPI and Volkswagen printed stuff, too. But I don't come here to sell stuff. Here's a concept; consider contributing to a site where everyone is genuinely passionate towards Cal Look VWs. Then... you just might be received a trifle more serious/better. Just a suggestion.

It's quite obvious that you're merely here to make money. Looks like that's the bottom line. (pun intended)

This is not a bad thing.
But normally, people like that are called "advertisers" and they pay for their advertisements. This is another way of contributing to the site, if someone has no knowledge, time or willingness to do it the usual way.

But this... this is just not fair IMO. Not fair from a point of view of other forum members and regular advertisers (if they exist).

This is not a bad thing.

In this case, it CAN be. Since 1994, I've been on the Internet. During that time, I've been administrator and moderator to various types of websites and/or discussion forums. There's a simple universal form of respect on the 'Net called Nettiquite, for lack of a better term. Unless said poster is contributing to the site(s) either by advertising or otherwise, it's basically called Free Ad Poach at that juncture. Sorry... I've always respected other peoples' sites. I'll go back to just lurking on this For Sale forum.

On a funnier note, the term "rare" often gets overused and thrown around on the 'Net. If VW and EMPI didn't produce/manufacture millions of of the things that they did, "rare" could be tactfully used. To each their own, I suppose. It's all relative, such that it is.

Carry on.

(edit) WHOA! I just noticed the "rare" license plate frame thread. I have a crate full of old Porsche/VW frames from when I worked at both of those dealers. I didn't know that I could get such big money for those. HAHA!! Don't worry, I won't be "pimpin" my wares here.

Yes, that's exactly what I wanted to say. Thats the reason why there is "but..." just after "This is not a bad thing."  Wink
