Fellow Mackies : Photo edit app

A question for the other Mac users, does anyone know a sort of "Paint"-like application I can use to simply edit some photos.
It may be a bit more sophisticated, but I don't wanna use Photoshop on my laptop...

Why not? To much money? Sometimes ebay offers some pretty good deals on software.

There is also a "lite" version called Photoshop Elements. Corel Paint Shop Pro is also similar to Photoshop Elements but I hear elements has an edge.

I guess it depends on how far you want to go. Both are way limited in comparison to Photoshop. I use Photoshop CS3, There isn't much it can't do.

I know Photoshop CS3, I use the basic function (i'm not expert) on another pc (not my own).
Basically, I wanted a small app because I hardly have any disc space left
And it's just the basic functions I'm looking. But thanks, I'll look into these!!
