I had a talk to a friend of mine this afternoon.. we were talking about gassers... and the thalk went in to replica gassers.... the "thing" is... If there is one car from the old days, you realy like.. gasser, cal-look, or custom dosent mather..... and there is built a replica, that is almoust done right.. it has the look, but miss all the nostalgic parts.. etc ... can you build it again with all the bits and pieces.... and make it  right, or are that seat already taken, because of the first one built??? Huh Huh Huh

A replica is a replica. If it is done well and with good taste I doubt it will be an issue.

I love that car. Even more so for the worn look.

Ahhh ok, thanks ;-)

A friend of mine build a S & H Ford grand torino replica to promote the film in France. But I never saw this film. The original 70's S & H are very cool ;-)

I like to build cars that are very heavily influenced, but with my own twist on them. My Ghia was the same colour as Roger Gragos, but it was a later car (a '71, not an early '60s), my first bug was what I imagined Greg Aronson would have built if he'd had a '67 not a '63 ragtop, my race car took its colour scheme from Lee Leightons oval (red with gold pinstriping) but had a chopped top, flared rear wings, 13" front wheels etc.
I know I couldn't build an exact replica, there would always be something I wouldn't be happy with! Smiley
