Hmmm I sort of remember some cool ass guy lending Mr Ratto a set of BRM's for a show in Solvang.. since his ride was not ready for the trip. I remember also that another driver wanted to cut Mr Ratto's throat on the drive down but when the caravan caught up to us the guy sped away..imagine that. Oh fun times. The camping was fun too. Were those "Speed of Light" people ever going to go to bed...geezzz. The best part was the show itself at the Ostrich farm. Made any car look low. Kyle mr rhd

Poor bus my ass,
the day of transformation, remember that? What 15 hr straight? Install dual carb 1914, switch to 12V, then next weekend do it all over again with new improved "one piece" transaxle. Those oatmeal stouts upon completion were well deserved. Your bus was the club mascot. Never let us down.... right?
Best memory: you or me (don't remember who) drew a cartoon of half-Frank/half-fish on paper coffee cup during lecture in that rock-star's astronomy class. Getting the look. I'm still laughing.

Oh man, those were great days (and nights). I've driven my boys down that stretch of road and told the tales of brotherhood, battle, and burnouts.

I remember this day I think, or was it 2000? There was a big burnout session in the parking lot. A type III wheel hopped so bad the rear 1/4 window fell out.

Still probably the coolest picture ever put up on the internet. My friend Sam and I have plans to re-create this with his ratty white '63 and my ratty red '67 sometime soon. Preferably once the white car doesn't have a shredded gearbox in it.

That photo will haunt you for the rest of your life Keith. Where's the Exorcist when you need him! TBH Keith, it looks like you're awkwardly holding it for Jim whilst he folds his arms for the shot!
