Looking for five (but will settle for four) of the factory Fuchs 2 liter wheels. Not the fake cast ones... only the forged factory ones. Also with the original center cap, as well. Preferably all natural colored and not with black background. (see pic below)

Thanks in advance.

Tanx... I've always dug on those. My orange car had 'em for one Bug-In. Even had the 911 center caps. For my next car, I'll settle or the standard 914 blank caps.

Here's my car in front of Vince Ito & his car. We were waiting in line before dawn at one of the Bug-Ins. I'm guessing #25 or #27.

The close-up shot is from McNew's car during the photoshoot for VW Trends that I took. At the time, full polished wheels seemed like a good idea. HAHA!! Thankfully, those were the only ones that ever made it on my car. Every other wheel wasn't. Too much bling for my tastes. I like 'em like the green 914 pic. Just the factory coating. Easy maint. and more driving time.

Hate to admit it but I'm still ok with full polish... especially on 2 liters. I really liked the way that Dave had his detailed with the body color in the openings.

Wow... that was easy. Thanks, Gary. Gonna call them, right now. Then, it's off to find the correct center caps and lugnuts. I liked Dave's detail on his so much that mine were painted the same color as my dark brown interior. Wasn't noticeable unless you were standing very close to the car.

Thanks, Shubee... but I don't want polished or painted ones. I want 'em w/the factory finish like this:

Thanks, though. Good looking out.

Everyone that's been e-mailing and calling me with cars and wheels for sale: thank you VERY much. You're all awesome and it restores my faith in the human race. I've been away from the VW (air-cooled) scene since '85, and it was great back then. It's good to see that all of these years later, the same good vibe continues to exist within the community.

I've found a set of wheels. Tomorrow, hopefully, I'll be driving home my VW Bug. We'll see. Details to follow.
