Trying to decide if it would be a good idea to have gold wheels on an off white car???

I have chevy pattern centre lines, was wondering if i should get them gold anodised.

Cheers,
Rob.

I found this photos. Personaly, I like gold wheels with white car.

As far as I remember, Ole (owner of Pink Panther and here on this lounge) has DDS and Erco gold anodized wheels.

Their is also a blue early 60's cal look with gold erco in a Volksworld magazine but I don't have the magazine with me yet.

I'll have a look to see if I can find a picture, but Andy Spikolman (sp) oval was a cool white cae with gold five spokes. Pretty sure it was in hot vws in the 90's

Wow that looks so right!
I am a little concerend though as the ones I have seen with gold Erco/Centerlines/race wheels seem mainly to be red or blue cars, but surely it would look ok on an off white car.

Cheers,
Rob.

I remember that day when Henry was racing his car. I was standing close to the photographer when that was taken. God, I miss O.C.I.R. Spent a lotta time there.

this one guillaume !!

This is the car that recently sold on here I think, but I don't think it has the gold wheels any more!
I like it with those wheels.

I am not sure though if with my project it will look too much having body colour, chrome, gold, ali etc, maybe too many things to clash.
