Wow that sucks. Is it a '69? I know where a set of front fenders and a hood are but they are in FL. Came off my '69 fasty but I traded them to a guy. He still has them.

Ouch!

 Sad

That's a bummer, Bryan. Very sorry to hear about that. Looks like a '68 or '69. Love the color... Kansas or Savannah?  Hope that you're able to get it back to good order again, soon.

Actually, I`m hoping the insurance company will call it a total and I can part it out. Its worse than it looks. Its slightly buckled at the a pillars and will need a whole front clip.

I`ll be alright. I hit my chest on the steering wheel and bruised my sternum good so I`m in pain for sure. It was one of those situations that was pretty much unavoidable.

Is it a 1968? Hopefully not, as the RH front fender is one year only. I mashed a '68 Squareback into a granite cliff in Quincy CA and tried like hell to find correct RH fender. And that was in 1992.

Its a 69 Jim. But I thought they were the same. Anyway, it will need fenders, hood, bumper and brackets, a front clip, probably a gas tank, headlight buckets and rings, t signal housings....... maybe more. And the front end will need to be pulled out a little as it is buckled right below the corners of the windshield. Not to mention paint which will be impossible to match with the rest so I will have to push for a total respray. The adjuster is supposed to come out today and look at it. I don`t know if they will fix it or total it.

well sorry to see what happened, I saw pics of that car before and it looked like a sweetheart.
The 1969 has cable operated fuel filler lid...   1968 had a relief in the fender contour to get your finger under to open flap. A metal work guy actually made a 1969 fender into a 1968 for me.
