Hey Carlo,

I own a set of Empi Sprintstar in 4,5 and 5,5. They are painted in silver and black with the center caps with the decal. I sell them because I do not use them anymore for a while. One rear is a bit damaged so the tire loose the pressure but I will send it for repair this weekend. So it will be again in good condition. All wheels are quite in good condition but not perfect. I restored them 7 or 8years ago and did not used them really often but the black paint was bad so it has to be done again. I ask 1000 euro for the all set and if you are interested i will send you some pics. If not intersted, tell me so I can put an ad on differnet websites. Thank you.

Ben

PS: I also sell my Empi GT steeringwheel. The wood model. In really great condition. Price 850 Euros.

A bit on the side, (hope you don't mind), what do we consider to be "original" sprint-stars? I have owned several sets of four-luggers through the years, some were sold, some were even stolen, a few were kept.

Well, they were all exactly alike, except for the 5,5's and they were all made by Lemmertz, and they had different manufacture years stamped inside. The only ones sporting the EMPI logo were made in june 1973. Obviously i kept a set of five "real" EMPIs, but hell guys, as long as they are made by the same manufacturer they are originals, aren't they? Or do they have to be in the EMPI catalog the same year they were made?

Flat4 sprints, step aside! I hate those weels!

Well,

By Original I think Carlo wanted to say not the Flat4 Aluminum Replicas but the real Steel Empi/Lemmertz onces...

Which then means they GOT to have the EMPI name as well as Lemmertz punched in on the inside?
