« on: April 03, 2008, 13:58:44 pm »

Anyone else having trouble with the Lounge not loading as easily recently?  At home or at work  Cheesy  its the same, sometimes real slow, or doesn't load at all.  Just seems to be the last week or so.

No. In fact, this is one the faster sites that I frequent. Probably because there are no ad banners with Flash taking up bandwidth. Do you clear your cookies and cache very often? Try that and see if it speeds things up. Sometimes, that tends to help. I've been using Mozilla Firefox (browser) since 2005 and started clearing that stuff out once a week or so. Seems to keep things moving at a fast pace. Good luck.

I keep the work computer cleaned out, for obvious reasons.  Still doesn't seem to help.  Seems like it is better once I get here, but sometimes that first load is a bear.

I get the same thing. May just be the link between here and Europe is slow in the mornings. That or they need to get a new hamster for the server.  Tongue

No problem Trond, just a question/FYI.

That could explain it, and the west coasters don't notice it because by the time they roll out of bed, it is nearly the following day!

It seems OK here though it looks like there was a glitch as there's a post clocked at 16:30:42 on the "raceshop slalom car" thread but that's in about an hours time.

Which is now fixed!  Smiley

The irony... this morning, before I took my sons to school, I kept getting Connection Failed every time I tried to navigate around the site. I'm still getting it. Hitting the Refresh seems to move along to the next page.

No I'm not...
I only Lounge in the evenings and on weekends...
it helps me relax...
I don't have the problem...
I don't Lounge as much as Speedwell does...
it's your problem...
if you were nicer to me I wouldn't have to Lounge...
I can quit anytime I want... I just don't WANT or quit!

In my family, a stagger is something to be proud of. Real sorry drunks need to be carried home.  Grin
