yes, if I can make it out, I will come on down from Simi in my '67, love to hang out with you guys and pore over the stuff I keep hearing about down there....Muiras, GTO's, Carrera 4-cams... etc.
cool picture of your '67 Mark!!!! Looks perfect.
Jim, that sounds totally cool. Dunno if you've ever been. But you wanna get there by 7am and get a good spot to park. Everyone usually bails at around 9am. Lots of great cars of all types.
Here are some shots that I took from a few weeks back. Dave Mason's black car was there that day, as well.

I'm not a real big fan of every British car made, but I couldn't get enough of the green Aston Martin Zagato. WOW! What a car.
Also, thanks for the compliments regarding my car, Jim. Worked on it for thirteen days/nights straight. Now, it's time to save up for the engine.

To be wealthy and into cars.... must be the life...
That Aston Zagato is gorgeous, bet it sounded good too.
This past weekend, my wife and I made our pilgrimage up to Pismo, S.L.O. and Cambria. We usually take a ride up Hwy 1 to see the elephant seal colony just north of Hearst Castle. We did Saturday and while staring at the seals we hear this seires of howling downshifts, and into the gravel parking lot pull 4 F360's, 3 F430s and the big, brand new 599GTB.... all of them pieces of art.
I'm going to try to make it this weekend Mark, I'll let you guys know by Thursday

NICE! I know that you were from up north, but back when I was married up until the mid '90s, we'd always wait for summer to end then drive up the coast and stay in Pismo, Shell, and Cambria beaches. GOOD TIMES! Epic drives along with some good waves. Saw lots of big seals and elephant seals, too. My sons were really little back then, but they still remember the fun we had. I love the central coast.
Yeah, just post up if you're gonna head down for C&C. That would be cool to see a few people from The Lounge there.

Ok take the 405 south.
Get off and Irvine Center Drive and go left.
Right on Alton Pkwy
Left on Gateway.
First driveway on the right is for spectators and second driveway on the right is where all the cool kids park.

You get to park with the cool kids in the second driveway on the right... I get to park with the uncool kids in the first parking lot.

Cool, Jim. Glad that you and everyone's comin' out. If all of you guys are showin', then I'll bring the blue car. Don't worry 'bout donuts... there's plenty on hand, there. Unless, of course, you opt to bring your own. See y'all there at 0700hrs. (That's 7:00am for all of you non-flying civilians.)
