Wanted TWO beige-brown '67 hinge pin plug!
This part is only for '67 model (starting at chassis 117496034 and ended to end of '67 model-year)
Please help me!!!!!  Wink  Grin

Hi Carlo 67 Bug Hinge Pin Caps were all Clear in Color the one in your Picture has been painted at one time or another you can see the bottom is still clear VW changed hinge pins in late 67 they are the same on type 3's and most are good condition because they are covered by the door there on the inside on a type3 or you can still buy black ones from west coast metric or wolfsburg west hope this helps

I have the original black hinge pin plug...but are for '68 model-year and later...I wanted the original hinge pin plug for the '67 model-year!
The '68 model is different...

the type 3 is going to be your best bet they were clear and were used on 67 and early type 3's since there on the inside of the door they dont always get painted and dont get the weather like they would on the outside
