How fast would I be in the 1/4 mile with the mentioned combo in the stock weight 72. beetle,no interior Grin

At the moment,I have Engle 120,Engle 125 lying around,",waiting for crankshaft which is on it's way

Which of these would be superior street combo,I heard that w125 with 1.25 rockers is close to an fk8 with 1.4 rockers?

I will be using 1.25:1 rockers

In the motor goes 82 crank,5.4 I-beams,lightened flywheel

For the heads as said before I have few choices:

1: New CB Mini Wedge
2:Steve Timms Stage 2
3.DRD L5

It will be topped with 44 IDF carbs for now, later on maybe I'll move to more serious IDA's.

With that combo you will run in the 14's i bet.

What kind of gearbox do you run with? 4.37?
Go with the W125 cam and those rockers.

For heads i think all the 3 options are great but i would choose the DRD L5 heads.

Succes dude. Cool

you don't have to worry with the I beam rods if you have goods one with good ARP bolt, with both cam!!  max power will be around 6000rpm with good heads  so...
we ran a 78mm crank with Gene Berg 191S vw  rods  wich rev around 8000  and 10.7cr  with no PB!!

I don't have any experience of this cam, but Mark Herbert recommended the FK10 to me several years ago for use with stock gears. Of course, I ended up buying a close ratio 'box before I built a motor so ended up with an FK89... Wink
