I showed the pictures to Crazy Joe. He said the car got totaled in the final round against the Little Giant Killer at Bug-In 17. Got 2nd place though!

Yes thats Crazy Joe he also use to Work At Gene Berg Pictures of the Crashed Car were in Hot VW's Bug In Issue cant remember the Bug In think it was 13,14,15 ?

gary i've watched my bug in archives and nothing about that crash , at bug in 15 there's a crash but the car was dynamite and owned by jim smissen

the car was renamed hot & crazy and was driven & owned by "crazy joe" and renamed before or after don't know by another name  prestidigifigitatos something like that  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Joe said he bought the car from Ray Litz as a roller. He first renamed the car PRESTIDIGITATOR, then changed it to Hot-N-Crazy because his wife was the HOT and he was the CRAZY! Lettering by Jeff Kayaguchi
He's looking for more old pictures of it too, we've kindled his interest.
He also would like to see pics of the car after the crash, which of course HE couldn't take any of!

may be ask joe to see if he've some pictures of the car before the crash or from different bug in  , that would be cool
