A friend has a old Scat 84mm  /T1 journals . One rod has spun the bearing , burned the journal ,needed welding and grinding ( done) is now 0.50mm under . Still has a few nicks from welding , thinking off getting it grinded to Chevy rod dia. with a little more stroke ( 86)
BUT a new CB crank 86mm cost just a little more than repairing the old one . Which would you use ?
