Today I got the rear Turbo brakes on with the e-brakes hooked up and functional, new struts on, Turbo front caliper mounts on, billet front hubs and rotors installed, caster-fix swaybar bushings.
Tomorrow: reinstall spindles with tie-rod flip kit installed, new tie rods, camber kit, and bleed brakes

hey Derek... you knucklehead.... WTF's that Facet clicker pump doing on your car? Are you using it for a windshield washer pump? I
know
you're not using that for a fuel pump.

Actually, i've decided to go with a twincharged (super and turbocharged) 1300 for overall fuel economy. The facet was just there to help drain the tank. I think i'm just going to mount a squeeze bulb in the fuel line and place it next to the shifter so I can just pump the fuel thru myself. That way I won't have to worry about the noise of those ridiculous electric pumps.

Derek, I'm fully diggin' on your wheels. 'Bout time someone had the grapes to run those on a VW. Good job! Can't wait to see how the rest of the car turns out. Thanks for the updates.

that car is going to be frightening when you get it finished
I agree, those 928S wheels look right @ home buddy.
This car is getting the next (and hopefully last) motor to come off my stand: 2332, 84mm Bugpack 912 journal, 5.600 old Bugpack race rods, 94mm/long barrels, 11.5:1, CB ultra wedgeport w/ LS1 springs, Engle FK89, 48IDA w/ big vents, 1-7/8 Tiger header/muffler, Mallory mag. It might go pretty good.

What? Hold on... back the truck up 'bout 10". So we're NOT going to build my 2,800cc engine with 51mm IDAs? Bummer. I was so looking forward to that. (sigh) After that car that Schwimmer and I took a drive in the other night, I'm considering going that route. We'll see.

Derek, what style header system did you go with from Tiger... the conventional or sidewinder merged collector?

The merge, conventional and sidewinder headers all taste alike. Hold your nose and take a bite of each one. They will all taste sweet.
