I have some Weld spindle mount wheels that fit onto Stange spindles. But I also want to run brakes up front as its has to be road legal, anyone know where I can get brakes that will work with this wheel setup? I am sure I have seen them somewhere before?

Thanks,
Rob.

JCL Racecars in the states! I looked at these for mine but I opted for bolt on just to be on the safe side for road use. They are about $1000 for the fronts in either spindle mount or bolt pattern like mine.

I presume you will still run either K&L or Balljoint? If you do run the spindle mount fronts they will also need machining to accept VW bearings! Wayne Allman would be who I suggest for this seeing as the wheels are already in the UK!

I've got a picture of JCL's front set-up somewhere too..

CMS wheels (those whop make erco wheels) have a billet model front wheel that you can purchase with the disck already bolt on them.
Art Gumpfer is running them on his fast back: http://home.comcast.net/~agumpfer/wsb/html/view.cgi-home.html-.html.
You can mail him he will answer you for sure! Wink
