D.B.O. Not a club; a state of mind.

« on: May 05, 2008, 17:18:14 pm »

Yesterday's weather was pretty nice, but by the time we got to Nick's... not-so-much. However, it didn't keep the Panzers from doing their thing.

Incoming!

A few D.K.K. cars and members showed up, as well. Good to meet Junior & Jim. Also great to see Tod after so many years.

Mark R. brought a blast from the past; one of our old club rally event shirts that used to serve as a stool cushion. Wish I could find my shirt like that... it's around here, somewhere.

This dark plum colored Split showed up and was quite the car. Very nicely done.

A somewhat portal back to a time of what used to be.

Seņor De Alba tries to listen for the sweet sounds of 48IDAs, but to no avail.

Never realized it after all of these years... but as Carlos pointed out to me, there's a VW logo stamp on the tip of the license plate light housing.

If these windows could talk; imagine the stories they could tell.

Susy brought out her Ghia, too. Good talking to you and Mike.

We got to eat, have some laughs, hangout with new and old friends, and had fun. See y'all at the next one.
