The builders a friend of a friend who does a lot of engine building for another business so I cant give a name as there’s some politics involved.

They know their stuff and must say they have been very helpful with the spec and the times scales that I cant thank them enough for.

Specification is as follows

Mag case stroker clearance and opened for 94s,shuffle pins on center main and full flowed
Scat chromoly 82 stroke crank with VW journals,8 dowelled and chromoly 8 dowelled flywheel,H/D chromoly gland nut
Scat H beam 5.4 rods with 3/8 aRP 2000 bolts
Mahle 94mm piston/cylinders
stroke clearanced cam which is a K8
Shadeck oil pump, full flowed and blueprinted with full flow cover
manton cut to length push rods
Scat 2 quart deep sump
8mm chromoly head studs
42/37 Welded VW heads ported/polished at Brothers machine with matching Scat trak IDA manifolds
48 IDAs with jetting and vents to suit
Scat 1.4/1 Pro rockers
Scat stainless valve covers with welded vents
Scat billet pulley with long bolt and H/D washer
Kennedy Stage 1 clutch cover and daiken disc
High output alternator with stand and billet oil filler extension and welded genuine VW doghouse fan
All new doghouse tinware,powder coated

Was going to change the cam for a slightly different grind after some advise from a fellow lounge member but got some photos with it all built up on the day when I was going to call them to make the change.

Still not at all worried as I’m sure it will be fine.

Can’t wait
