"Inhale the world", (in memory of MH)

« on: May 26, 2008, 13:26:34 pm »

Hi folks! It all tightens up these days with preperations for my final exams and so on. But most important of all of course: Bug Run at Mantorp park a week and a half away. To get there, (and preferably back home too) i need the following, (in red). This is an excerpt from a rebuild article on the internet:

"Next, lubricate the accelerator pump pushrod and the cam & roller mechanism with a good long lasting lube. We recommend our new Amsoil lube".

You guys know what part I'm talking about? It's for a 2. gen IDA. I need both, and the spring attached to them as well, and I need it NOW. Can anyone help me out here? I'll throw in a lousy picture too...

Ok, let's try this one, with a better pic.: The thingy I need, (two of) is the one inside the spring, and the spring itself. I need both sides. Thing is, the roller kind of bearing is so worn down that i get a "bump" while pushing the accelerator pedal, eventually breaking the cable, and the springs are so sloppy that thay wont push back properly. Anyone get it now? Help meeeee!!!! If you don't, I'll send Scorpions or Johnny Logan as a replacement band for the one you already got on SCC08.

Gene Berg could not deliver in time for BugRun next week, so I'm still looking, desperately!!! Don't anyone have any spare parts lying around? I'll take those springs Johnny!
