Does anyone know the thread size of the ports on a '67 beetle master cylinder? I want to run AN fittings throughout so I need to order the correct adapters!

As I'm going to be running 4 wheel disk brakes, is it a good idea to run a brake proportioning valve e.g this from Wilwood



Also do I need to run a residual pressure valve as the M/C will be lower than the calipers?

I've got 4 wheel discs on my car, original master cylinder with no residual pressure valve and no problems. I am thinking about installing a proportioning valve though because when I really hammer on the binders my 145's lock up, a little more bias towards the rear wouldn't hurt.

A pro valve won't help that, Zach.  They are usually installed such that they can reduce the rear lockup.  You need the opposite.  What are your rear brakes now?
