Awesome looking car! Speak to Peter Englezos at Cogbox - he runs one in his Fiat and would probably be able to talk through set-up too. Bernard Newbury also runs one I think.

It's a drag shifter 1-2-3-4-neutral, cool down,fill up,1-2-3-4, repeat until broken

for 1st squeeze the trigger and push forward
for 2nd pull the shifter backwards
for 3rd push the shifter forwards
for 4th pull the shifter backwards
to go from 4th to 3rd push the leaver forwards
to go from 3rd to 2nd squeeze the trigger and pull the shifter backwards
and from 2nd to 1st squeeze the trigger and push the shifter forwards
you have to bear in mind that the shifters change gear so fast that you have to use Pro rings in the box. Peter found this out on his own car.

How does it works? I use a 091 bus box with the shifting rod mounted above the chassis .

i run with a bus gear aswell and use the original shift rod inside the pan. you just have to make a small bracket to mount the shifter on.. can post you pictures of mine if you want.

With vertigate, instead of using the H pattern to select gears, you have one rod directly on each gear.
