the grand place is an amazing square , exquisite architecture ....... stand in the middle and slowly turn 360
then you can go to orielly's for a full fry-up and a few bullmers with ices , or a roast dinner . with a few bulmers on ice .
did i mention they sell bullmers and magners
then around the corner is the celtica bar , lots of football on at weekends (during the season) and at night it stays open until morning .
the cider there is there own brand and not very good after tasting bulmers , the good thing is you can drink in oriellies for a few hours to deaden your tastebuds
last time i went on a session in there i satayed all night and fell asleep on the train to antwerp .... ended up in leuven !!! BEWARE !!

check out the antiques shops around place jeux de ball, but don't by the sixties furniture, I need some when I move, also there's a skate park round the corner if you want to break some limbs!

Why rental? Even more fun in a car with semaphores and Oval/Split rear visibility

Or you can do it the PROPER way and go in with a To#Īta pickup truck on steroids, not to mention the 15ft. trailer...

I wanna go just for the skatepark. I'm old... but still skateboard. Can't believe that place is still around. Europe was cool about leaving many of the old skate spots. Unlike here, where they demolished 'em all. Lame.

Nah it's all new, they made a neighbourhood reunion and wondered what to do with that place, and so they made a skatepark out of it pretty cool..
If you wanna drink beer there's always the cafe Belga on Place Flagey, pretty cool spot. Other than that, around the Grand place theres Toon, Le bison, les halles saint Gery, le roi des Belges, le mappa moundo. All great spots to drink beer.
there's also the Dieteren museum, it's rue du Mail in Ixelles, a nice collection of old VW, porsches, etc. Around there there's also a lot of bars to drink beer... Maybe i'll think about something more once i sober up tomorrow... Cheers!
