Yeah... I know, probably the last website to be asking this on. But, why not? Looking for one of these:

that will fit the pre '68 Beetle engines. Anyone in So Cal have one that I can drive to pick up? Thanks in advance.

Bummer. Drove out there, today. All that they had were the late ones. Oh well... the search continues.

Found a few on The Samba... but does anyone in So Cal have one? I'll drive out to pick it up.

Sorry Mark!

Not your fault, John. In fact, they spoke rather highly of you. It's my car's fault for being too early for the later tin. I'll promptly go outside and shake my fist at the engine tin, if that helps.

Jim, got the pulley cover, yesterday. Already painted & installed it. Really can't see it in this pic... but it's there.

Much thanks!

Right on Mark! For some reason that little piece of tin is one of my favorite things Smiley The GTV still has one, and we even put one on Slingle Cab- albiet very trimmed down to clear the Berg pulley!

COOL! So, I'm not the only freak that's gonna have one with my weighted black degree pulley? I'm gonna have to do the same thing and shave a lot of material to clear that thing. But I've always had those on my cars.

NICE! I dig the black air cleaner housings on the Kadron engine. What kind of distributor is on that one?

It is a Treuhaft distributor with an electronic conversion from Mallory. Slinger went nuts and polished it Shocked
