Hello Gunter

Inchi Pincher was originally D.Vittone's private car. According to many picture of that time shows orange look like color, which was never available on original VW.
Also on early EMPI catalog's front cover page, you can see the oval with D. Vittone sitting next to it and other formula Vee also painted in same color ( you also can see Dean Lowry sitting in the drag ster).

It should be same solid orange as used on many EMPI package. It is sure that it is not the matalic  tangerine which used later on the Inchi Pincher.
