Register an Italian vehicle in UK.

Hi all!

I just moved from Italy to London, I have an italian 72 bus and
I need to register it in UK...

Someone have some suggestions or knows how to do that?

And do you have some suggestions for the insurance?

You'll need to get an MOT on the chassis number, and then it's a trip to your local DVLA office with £50 and uk certificate of insurance.
then wait about 10 days for your uk registration and tax disc to come through, then you can order your uk number plates

a stupid question.... in Italy if I register a car I get the horrible new plates...
so what do you mean with order your uk number plates??
I can get the old ones?

you'll be issued a uk reg number, you can fit the black and silver plates, or you can be cheeky and run us style plates, I order my plates from here
