Hmm well its a 1940's US airbase, so not brilliant. Lee and the crew make it as good as possible, Lee did the track prep for EBI2 and will be using the same glue.

Oh and I meant how many of you guys are bringing cars?
You bringing the 65? Or will you be testing something new?

Going to try and get five of us down but only three of them are working at the mo. Got all the parts for mine just need to put it all back together. Glenn's motor is out of the car just need to take the case into work and cut it for 94mm P&B's. Then just put it all back together job done. Grin

Will it be bigger? Or same motor as last year? Either way your bound to win the trophy for quickest German car.

Was a good meet on Sunday we had 135 cars registered to drag, not a single AC VW though wich was a shame but I suppose Bug Jam was on! We did have an AC Flat 6 in the form of a late 80's porka.
Plenty of action from the Jap guys and some tidy V8's up there, So there will be some good competiton for the Aircooleds Next time!

Lee was proudly flying the Chimay banner at the track too which was given to him by the EBI crew for the track duties there.

Hope to see some of you there next time, I will probably be in the hut punching in your race numbers!

I think the best time was by a 4wd Skyline he ran 7.2 in the eighth, equating to an 11 sec 1/4

Next meet i will get my laptop hooked up to the portatree so we can have stats after each event, at the moment we just print out timing slips.

Would be great to see your car there, but if its not done will still be good to see a you up there.

Don't forget theres trophies for best burn out and best reaction time as well as best apprearing car on track and of course the best times etc.
