It will be worth it in the end. I fitted a 5 speed last month drove to Chimay the wife raced the car and drove back to Scotland no worries.
The box is so close that all you want to do is get into 5th. Jim Kaforski built the box and told me to solid mount it to get positive gear changes.

Car look great, Keith. Wire wheel the wheel studs, primer, then paint 'em silver. Would that help slow down the rust process?
But I'd be wary about running that plastic on the muffler... won't that melt?

Tiger sure did nice job of my muffler – polished muffler and brushed stainless pipework, just to be different...   Is that the Outlaws new tea maker at the back in the 2nd photo. |
