Fred, Fab' should not post articles of magazines being currently sold. This will ultimately hurt the magazines in question. Besides, it can/should not be legally done (copyright infringement). |

Actually, you're right, Stephan. Of course, in this case, I'm going to buy a copy of the mag. But for all practical purposes... you're correct on all counts. I'm also a photo-journalist and won't post pics from my articles till long after the magazine has been released to the public. Most of my images have still never been posted, however.
Soon as the new issue of Ultra is available here in the States, I'll gladly buy a copy. |

Wray Thanks (Big Mouth) I was hoping no-one would notice  However this photo must have been taken later on its life but is strange as the photo of the damaged shell doesnt have this on it either...... anyway i built this to a specific time and period when that extra writing wasnt on according to Ron F. Anyone know what Ulta produces different covers for the US? I got a buddy of mine, Raul Fernandez that has his Mango oval on the cover in the UK, but on the US edition it had that black fake 4x4 monster abomination on the cover. The articles are the same, just the covers are different. What gives?

Jeffrey, what's weird... is many magazines do that. Sometimes it's cool, but other times... not. The skateboard magazine that I write/shoot for will sometimes run up to four different covers. Thankfully, I get 'em all. But for the regular retail consumer, it can a pain in the neck if they want to acquire all of 'em. |

Paul likes to mix it up a bit sometimes, they are the same issue, he just puts a different cover on that may appeal to the different market. Last July he put a split panel on the US issue and a 1303 Kab on the european issue, the cover has to have a different barcode and...................................because he can! anyone want to swap some US issue mags for some European? |

doh !!! you got a copy before i got back to the uk to see if i had it !!! i'll be in oc next wednesday night with a few old copies of ultra and volksworld . I'LL PROBOBLY BE IN A BAR SOMEWHERE IN FULLERTON TO GIVE THEM AWAY IN EXCHANGE FOR A BEER was planning on dropping them at a dkp meet , but my timings been out on my last last trips |
