This has been a long project of mine. Just trying to get everything just right on this one. Just a few things left, a few more dollars and some blood and sweat to get it going. The push is now on for Sacramento Bug-O-Rama. We'll see if it's a go. Here are some shots of the progress.

Car is Lotus White

Have to finish the wiring  Tongue Not my best talent. But it's worth a shot.

Engine pics to come.

Thanks for the replies guys! Mike, yes I am hoping to make it to the Sept. Bug-o-Rama Cal-look challenge class. Tried to have the car ready for DRKC but that didn't happen.

It is a great looking car...!
Your decklid looks good too, better (in my opinion) than the Paintbox ones available over here.
Compare your lower swage line on the lid.

It's been a while but progress is being made! On the push to try and get this car done once and for all. Finished the fuel line install. Should of done i when the body was off but oh well. Not a terrible job if you think it through. Here are some pics.

Pan is a little dirty  Tongue

The engine is making way as well. A few changes have been made from this picture though. A mag is now installed and heads have changed. More pics to come.

I will post more pictures tomorrow as we are bringing the car to my new place. Can't wait to get working on it again!

Haha Thanks Dan. This is a different car from the last car (Blue 67') I had. But yes, This has been a 7 year project due to numerous set backs. But, it will get done in a timely manner now.

Brian,

Who makes the deck lid you have on your car?

Hi Rick, long time no see! How's Steve Hollingsworth doing? As for the decklid, it has no markings anywhere so i honestly have no clue who manufactured it. I have been thinking of possibly making a mold and reproducing them because I have had 100+ people ask me for one. I do know its from the late 60's-70's era by talking to who I got it from. Wish I knew more.

I've got one, too. Purchased it from Daniel Hood years ago, and luckily it's never been mounted Smiley No markings on mine either, but I've heard that Auto Haus had something to do with them. I think there was/is a place in the UK reproducing them, but I'm not sure.

Yeah, I think paintbox was the company reproducing them. Heard the same as Fabs as far as fit and finish with the reproductions. I think Zach is right about Autohaus possibly making the decklids we have. If I remember correctly, I had seen them in an Autohaus catalog years back.
