Sheesh, I remember when a few of my neighbors put that wood stuff in their rear ¼ windows. Thought it was weird in the early '70s, and still don't quite get it. I guess the drugs were more potent in those days to make people do these things to perfectly innocent VW cars. A homemade butterfly steering wheel... WOW. Haven't seen that on a street car in decades. Just get a 911 wheel and chop it, Sarge.
