Its so ugly its kinda cool. That was a big show winner once upon a time. I think it had a Porsche 6 cylinder in it. I seem to recall it got stolen. Don't know if it ever got recovered. Deano will probably know a lot more about it. |

Deano will probably know a lot more about it. Ah yes, "Top Gun," owned by Ed Papac of Enterprise, OR. Car was stolen, and just prior to it supposedly getting raffled off. Somewhere in the mid-90s there was an article (I have it at home somewhere) that Papac got busted for insurance fraud, as the car was recovered in Mexico but he never reported it to his insurance company or something to that effect. I laughed when I read the little article in my local newspaper at the time. I'm sure he's out of jail by now... |

It was "Stolen" in my home town of Newark, Ca. at the Motel 6 less than a mile from Baylands Raceway where it was to be raffled off. |

I think you're looking for something more along these lines, Jim.
That's not from 80's My buddy's ex-Oval, I really liked it. Different from what we were doing then and lot more ideas went to that build instead of bolting boring repro-wheels to original coloured car. |
