Sun gauges
«

Hello,
last night I was watching some auctions on Ebay regarding Sun gauges. I've noted that there are different type of gauges like Blue Line, black face, Sunpro..... I have searched informations in the web but I have not found anything about that. I need late 60s early 70s oil pressure and oil temperature gauge for my gasser. Someone can help give me some information? Which are the period correct instruments?
Grazie mille!!

I believe the blue line instruments are from at least the middle 70s. I have a blue line tachometer from a Chevy Nova that was put together in the mid-70s.
I personally like that series the most out of the Sun gauges I have seen. The smaller temp and pressure gauges look really nice.

I agree, the smaller Blue Line gauges are simply fantastic but if they are from mid-70s......mmhmhmh.......they aren't correct.
Do you know the exact production start date of Blue Line?
Grazie

Sorry I do not know when they started production. What era are you shooting for? Perhaps one of the vendors on eBay that sells that type of gague often would have more information.

There is an Ebay vendor that has a lot of good gauges, often NOS, "CHIPER" his name, but he ship only in the USA and don't accept PayPal.
Every time that I see the Blue line I say: damn!! It's cool, I like it!!

hi Mauro
ask the seller, it is stamped on the back like most of the aftermarket gauges.
