Rode my bike down the street today to the Doheny Woody Fest.  There were over 100 cars easily and some amazing works of steel and wood art.  The rarest of the rare was there.  It was a 46 Merc 4wd.  Only 4 were ever made.  Car is worth $$$.  Also bitchin' Packards, Morris Minors, etc.. stuff I have never seen before.
Kooky crowd those old wanna be surf guys.....
Fun day 2 miles from home, lots of sun and a whole lot of blue ocean.  Enjoy.

(the orange one is for Mark K, I know you luv those orange cars dude...)

I forgot about the usual Woody show at Doheny... cool that you got to see that, Worm. Those events have been going on for years, down there. Nico, I dig the old Lancia ad, and Tero... you tapped into some good stuff with those images. Nice find!

Out at Palm Springs Airport a couple of weekends ago and they have a Museum where all the planes are in flying condition -- They were flying that day a Hellcat and a Bearcat

Damn those are some beautiful planes

They have a very rare Spitfire there they fly also -- It was one modified to chase and tip the V1's during WWII

This used to be my second favourite car for a very long time, '63 corvette split window. Still makes me happy deep down in the pants region.

Do check the correct Swedish translation for speed, does make sense if you relate it to wind  Grin
