This is a 1956 Muntz.  Made in So Cal.  These were $5600 then, when a new 56 Cadillac was $4200.  Sweet ride.  Only 180 were made.

Yeah... but would you buy a car from this guy?

Madman Muntz... the man behind the Muntz Jet among other things.

Great job on the photos Scott. I wish I could have made it.

Cool Fiat boat, easy to excape if it sinks.  Wink
Many very nice cars.
Is there an event link?

What would be the best event calendar to search for Porsche events?

Here are the two national Porsche clubs, Amateur racing events and car shows.
http://www.pca.org/
http://www.porscheclub.com/

Several other clubs hold events for only historic/vintage race cars (my interest) .

Event link:   http://www.danapointconcours.org/dana-point/exhibitors/index.php

OTHERS:  http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-dana-point-concours/#3123888

The above link is great.  It does a much better job describing the cars than I did.  And LOTS more pics.  Enjoy

Two responses come to mind  Wink

Response #1
Like I used say when I sold parts at BAP/Geon; "If you can't take a joke, don't drive one!"

Response #2
Just sharing the frustration of being a one time Fiat owner. I had a '71 124 Spyder for about a year... wait.. didn't you take the nasty bits out and replace them with VW parts?

I've always enjoyed having the 1 off car rather than the 1 of a thousand -- -- That is one of the reasons I'm having motivation problems on working on my oval -- The farther along it gets the more it looks like all the rest --

Polish FSO rally team took a crashed Lancia Stratos and put it all into a Polonez shell. It's called Stratopolonez, and it's not very sophisticated Grin Grin
