My first car was almost the same model same color back in 74 for $500...

Any more info on this one?
[/quote]
I like this one too.
The gasser style cars look cool but these road race theme cars look a ton more fun and safer to drive fast.

It would look better with a set of spoked mag wheels ala type 35...just a lot wider.

Wow MG -- My buddy must of been ahead of his time -- he built this Chevelle for the silver state race, never entered or raced though (BBC and 6 speed trans, full NASCAR road race underpinnings) and then hardly left his garage for 12 years -- I got to ride in it one time, 60mph to 150 mph UP a mountain road instantly-- sold 4 years ago at Barret/Jackson for $50,000 less than third what he had in it, speedo had just over 300 miles on it

Nice ride that would have hauled azz at the Silver State.
I'd like to blast around the track in that.
At least he got to enjoy it for 12 years even if he only put 300 miles on it.
Is this the same guy that had the stock cars for sale?
Heard he is a talanted builder.
I'd like to find a pampered pro touring car complete for about the same deal.

My buddies vintage Nascar drum brake class car.
No where near the performance of your bronze monster. Wink

Movie for drag racing fans...
Looks good so far, but you know what happens when Hollywood gets involved!

My best friend and I were at that show... many cool cars to be seen. Really liked this one. Refreshing to see that some people are finally over the overdone bling treatment. Never cared for chrome and never will.

Speaking of vimeo links:

I would much rather have this as a daily driver:

Jack O is a long time buddy and 911 racer.
For some reason he's addicted to open face helmets and instructing at big willow.  Wink
Pre smog widebody 911 with a 3.6 is a very fun car.
Older photo of Jacks car.
