2015 Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival.
Started the 1st session with a very loose car.

Found some grip after a few adjustments to...
...air pressure, front and rear sway bars, front and rear ride height, 4 bar and pinion angle changes, increase in fuel weight and new slicks.
End of the weekend the engine was reving slow so felt lucky just to finish the 25 minute race in 5th.
With 20 minutes to go the engine was soft but the gauges looked good so continued to the end.
Video of the Sunday start.  Smiley

Now that is really cool! At first I thought you just did not have the little extra power to pass the mini but you made it at the end.

My 911 mech Vic with Hans Stuck and the Alucraft 962.
Hans Stuck drove this car to 4th at daytona 24hrs...
Hans visited our pit Saturday and shared that the doors had to be bolted shut to keep them from opening on the high banks at speed.
I'm at :35 into the video cleaning the Alucraft red/white 962.

Very nice. The 4.5" Fuchs are a strange looking wheel from that angle tho!

Has anyone been following the thread on retro rides about the adventure to buy a 912? Well worth spending a couple of hours on it. Warning - gratuitous Porsche content!

I lived in Chester in the late 90's and found a RUF 911 sat on a drive outside a house in town. In the 12 months I lived there, I never saw it move once. Wonder if it's still there?
