Congratulations Russel! That car has been one of my favorite gassers ever since I´ve seen its feature in volksworld magazine some years ago. I always wondered why nobody wanted to buy it as was for sale quite a long time now, right?! BTW: can anybody tell me a litlle bit about the hillborn injection of that era? How dif it work and was it readily available for bus or were it just some basic parts which you had to make to fit? Bye,
Tobi

Hillborn Fuel injection is quite simple mechanical unit the pump is fixed to the pully the faster the engine trunes the more fuel it gets ! You need a decent fuel pump to feed and avoid lean spots, pretty simple but effective.
Guys
Have secured a 11 car transporter, once i pass my HGV i will be driving there, the coolest truck in Europe
The chop, Iguana, Sum fun, lil Snort, Race Shop Ghia, 54 Oval racer, DDS Salts Flats car, the Gates 52 and empi bus. i might even take somethning old for Bad camberg the week before.................

As far as I know,Mouse Trap was transform in Lil' Red. Then, it was restored by Chris Morley as Mouse trap once again. And mouse Trap, at the beginning, was not top chop and has a big blower engine (see VW great number 2).

Chris Morley bought "Whip It" back in 1995 and it was the original Mouse Trap car - 100% for sure. I have pictures from the day we applied paint-remover on the white Whip It paint and found the yellow with red pinstripes underneath. Judging from these pictures "Cream & Scream" must have been the name of the Mouse Trap at one time.
