I think this was the better location because of the track , which was not so good as i expected but a 1/4 mile and all was more compact , it was not far to walk the whole place. Most of the racers spent the night on the campside so there was a lot of space left in the very large pit area . I had ignition problems and could  not find the reason for this  Angry . It looks like they will do it at spa next year , we will see .

I was only in Brustem saturday, and the rain spoiled part off the day, but I managed to do 5 passes on the strip in the late afternoon.
Shame there were only about 35 racers, so I had to drive alone 2 times.
The track was not bad but for me the braking distance behind the 400m was a lot too short.  Had to go on the brakes really hard right after the finish.
Hope they do something about it if it returns in the same location.

I was a little bit disappointed of the show  Undecided . But for me it is not The Show itself but the quality of the cars. More and more rat looker,  primered car and other ground scrapper.  Tongue Not my cup of tea.
I've spot this car I found nice, just the rear that is too much lowered.  Cheesy

Yes that's the Mach1 of my friend Pasco Close. They sell VW since 1948  Shocked Shocked

It is equivalent to The GTV . Only 180 where modify by Dietereen, the Belgian VW's importer during 64 and 65.

I spent a very wet and dissapointing weekend at the show..

From a social point of view it was great to meet some more 'Loungers' over the weekend, but on the selling/buying side it was a massive dissapointment.

I've been attending VW Shows for more than 25 years and this was the Worst weekend of selling I've ever had. So not good!!

I have nice/good/desirable VW items for sale and I had tyo almost 'Give' things away, just to 'Break Even' for the weekend.

I spoke to lots of other Traders who told pretty much the same story. I think that from what people said about this New location, it was not favourable compared to Spa and I'm not sure all of them will be back for next year, if there is another show?

The oranizers were very nice & friendly, but will need to 'listen' carefuly to feed back in order to make things even better for next time.

It's always hard to move an event from one location to another, but I'd certainly like to see the show get 'Better' for next year.

Perhaps it was the weather that really spoiled the show atmosphere, I don't  know for sure?

One aspect that certainly needs attentiom is the 'Food/catering'.... It was terrible and VERY Expensive. I had a plate of Eggs & Bacon for 3 Tickets ( Nearly 6 Euros!!) When I asked for a plastic knife/fork the boy said it's now 4 Tickets?HuhHuhHuhHuh?

I'm now on my way to VW Action in England, but my week just got even Worse when I found out I just lost 200 Euros that I sent to a French seller for some Empi parts That I will not recieve........

Altogether not a good weekend for me.
