I see some EFI going on there... A friend of mine is into Webers for various exotic cars & he has a magnesium manifold for 51mm down draft carbs for a sock motor. It has COMET cast into it. There was a Hot Rod magazine cover in the mid 60's with a sohc motor on it with the same manifold. I don't think there are too many of them floating around. Awesome looking motors. I would want one in a 65 Comet with Americans...

Way back when, late 60's/70's my dad got ahold of some of Mickey Thompsons "HEMI Ford" stuff for his injected nitro FC. My dad worked with Dee Keaton (Mickey Thompsons crew chief at the time) and became pretty good friends with Mickey. Mickey did ALOT of experimenting but didn't always test his stuff on his own cars, (lack of time) so some of his friends got the benefit (or melt down) of Mickeys trial and error. I'll try to find some pictures of the HEMI Ford stuff. (This wasn't the Ford DOHC or SOHC it was all Mickey's)

Sheep's friend, this guy Brandon, had a '67 Galaxie 500, pale cream yellow with Americans.....  very clean car. This guy could turn any sow's ear into silk though.

His parents had a gorgeous Riviera, that old fastback style... I have no idea what year, but flawless black.

He even had a 1979 blue Courier pickup that looked liked it just rolled off assembly line. I think Sheep got his '70 Toronado GT from this guy too.

they really are incredible engines......i remember a feature car in Custom Car magazine over here, it was a Falcon wagon with a cammer.....it said that the guy had over £20,000 in the engine alone.....and that was about 10 years ago

Woudl be cool to build with my kid someday. Can you still buy the Visible V8 models? I think that would be a good father and son adventure....
