I don't know what we are seeing... but what I'm seeing is one of the most incredible VWs ever built!
The car is so subtle; I'm sure many people could walk by it and not really notice it, being a black '68.
The sound of its engine is ferocious. Gotta love this ride.

To be honest its so hard to put many cars into a 'look' That car has elements from many different styles, I would say its the owners own custom style. I like it alot, looks real clean and looks like its going fast standing still!
However for me its leaning more toward the German/Euro look as it would look right at home on the Nurberg ring!

Totally a groundbreaking car for the VW scene.  They just keep getting harder to top, don't they?

That car is incredible, but I wouldn't call it Cal-Look. If it were an american car, I'd call it pro touring. With the EFI, Turbo, brakes and wheels it almost a "tuner" type of car as well. Either way, it's beautiful and I would love to have it in my garage.

I think it is what you would get if you sent your beetle to AMG or one of those types of shops.Every time I look at that car I find something new.A real tribute to Joe and Lanny,
