Hi. I took my swingaxel gearbox apart and found that on of the 3 pipes holding the spider gear axels in place had broken. I was able to take out the two short axels that holds in place two of the spider gears (I run a superdiff with four spider gears) and they spin nicely on the axels. Now I have the long axels with the last two spidergears sitting in the diff. The thing is it seems that atleast on of the spidergears has seized on the axel, and I cant punch out the axel. My question is, has anybody had similar problems like this? How do I get the axel out? And is it possible to buy a new axel to replace the one that obviously must be brooken?

Any input will be apreciated.

So you can/will break that one as well?  Roll Eyes I would try to upgrade now that your 'in there'
Sorry, no answers from me in the swingaxle issue as I don;t have experience with those..

It's possible that your axle end gear (sometimes called a crown gear) has broken. I've had this happen before and they expand a little and become very hard to get out.

The Weddle Superdiff is my choice. They have spiral grooved shafts that get enough oil to the spider gears to keep them from seizing onto the shaft.
 I too have seen this happen a few times on other diffs.
Usually associated with Hi-Po burnouts...
So far, all the Weddle units I have installed have been holding up fine.
